Q: SmartSVN v8.5.5 does not see v8.6 available for update?

This may be a problem with my expectations, rather than with SmartSVN, but my v8.5.5 installation on OS X 10.9 does not see that v8.6 is available as an update. Should it? Or is the preferred approach for me to download and install v8.6 rather than to update?
