Hi,
we consindering upgrading our 32-bit SmartSVN 6.6 to the current Version 8 in 64-bit.
We use Windows 8, 64-bit as OS.
Because we have some downloading and speed problems with a very large repository.
Some users reach the maximum Java heap size (-Xmx1024m in vmoptions).
However, we downloaded the current 64-bit installation as trial and we observed that (altough SmartSVN is installed now in Programs instead ProgramX86), SmartSVN is still launched as a 32-bit application.
Therefore we couldnt increase the maxiumum heap sizue to 2048, the maximums still stands at 1024.
Can you explain this? Do you have to change some settings or take account of something when installing a newer version of SmartSVN on the same PC? Or is Version 8 still using 32-bit libaries?
Best regards
Benjamin
